We don’t wait for innovation – we do that ourselves. Our plan to upgrade our machines this year will help our leading-edge capabilities stay right on the curve, delivering excellence and efficiency in a seamless package. The team at Rotabroach carefully considers where technology can be used to elevate our processes, with a new and exciting focus on robotics and automation set to roll out this year.
We also put our money where our mouth is. With plans to streamline the assembly line and introduce new ways of working, we are investing £1.5 million into new equipment that will help us maximise capacity and productivity. Beginning in May, Rotabroach will implement ‘Lights Out’ in the milling department, allowing the factory to run with minimal staff overnight, so more high-quality products can be made to meet customer requirements,
In total, 25% of our iconic annular cutters are produced during ‘Lights Out’. With our new control ranges allowing us to increase efficiency, we are pushing the boundaries of our capabilities into the future.
SHEFFIELD BORN, SHEFFIELD MADE
We are proud of our roots. That’s why we put time, energy and money into the development of our Sheffield-based warehouse, the team, and the products we create in-house. Based in the ‘Steel City’ itself, this is where we design many of our powerful Step Drills, Annular Cutters, Reamers, Magnetic Drills, Hole Saws, Taps, and Drill Taps – enabling us to service our customers quickly from our huge range of stock.
Our Sheffield base also gives us complete end-to-end control of our process, from initial conception to design, construction to delivery, allowing us to ensure that everything we sell is to Rotabroach’s renowned standards. We create the quality you can depend on with power that gets the job done, with the ability to tailor our output to our customer’s unique requirements.
With rigorous procedures, including the use of highly-accurate measuring equipment to verify components, customers always get the best of Rotabroach technology.
